About ping•b2b

Verified B2B supplier discovery for India

ping•b2b helps Indian buyers find manufacturers, processors, and traders they can actually trust. Every supplier on our platform has been verified across government records, business directories, and review platforms before being listed.

We built this because B2B procurement in India is still broken — buyers lose money to fraudulent suppliers, ghost listings, and cancelled GST registrations. We wanted a single place where the shortlisting work is already done.

How we verify suppliers

Every supplier goes through a 10-point check before appearing on a ping•b2b page. Here is exactly what we look at.

01

GST portal verification

We confirm every supplier's GSTIN is active on the government portal (gst.gov.in). Cancelled or suspended registrations are excluded. We also record the registration year and business type — manufacturer vs trader.

02

Google Business profile

We check the supplier's Google Business listing for star rating, review count, and review quality. Suppliers below 4.0 stars with 10+ reviews are filtered out. We score by rating × review volume — a 4.2 star with 60 reviews outranks a 4.9 star with 2 reviews.

03

Review authenticity check

Clusters of identical 5-star reviews with no text, posted within days of each other, flag a supplier as suspicious. We check review patterns alongside the raw score.

04

Scam and complaint search

We search consumer forums, ComplaintBoard.in, and Google for fraud complaints against the supplier. Three or more credible complaints result in exclusion. One or two are flagged on the card.

05

Marketplace tenure

A supplier who has maintained a paid B2B marketplace listing since 2015 has demonstrated 9+ years of active sourcing intent. We record member-since year and any verified seller badges.

06

Direct phone verification

Every listed supplier must have a confirmed phone number sourced from their marketplace profile, company website, or Google Business listing. We record the source URL and confidence level. Mobile numbers are preferred over landlines.

07

Website credibility

We check whether the supplier has a real website (not just a marketplace page), whether it appears professionally maintained, and whether it includes an address or team section.

08

Cross-source consistency

The same company name, address, and phone number should appear consistently across IndiaMART, Google Business, and their own website. Inconsistencies flag a risk.

09

Specialization depth

We record what each supplier actually makes — specific grades, tolerances, certifications, and processes — not just a broad category. This is what goes into the match reason on each card.

10

Business type on GST

GST records disclose whether the entity is registered as a manufacturer, trader, or service provider. We surface this so buyers know whether they are buying factory-direct or through a middleman.

Trust tags explained

Each supplier card shows a trust tag based on what the verification found.

Verified Business

GST active 3+ years · Google 4.0+ · Marketplace member 2+ years · Zero complaints

Data freshness

Supplier pages show a "Last verified" date in the header. We regenerate pages periodically to refresh supplier data, phone numbers, and GST status. If you find an out-of-date listing or a phone number that no longer works, WhatsApp us and we will re-verify within 24 hours.

The sourcing team

ping•b2b is built by a team with hands-on experience in Indian B2B procurement and supply chain. Our sourcing researchers have worked across industrial machinery, packaging, chemicals, and food processing categories. We understand what a procurement manager actually needs before they pick up the phone — which is why the verification methodology is built around the questions buyers ask, not vanity metrics.

All supplier pages are researched using a combination of automated data collection and manual verification. The ping•b2b sourcing team reviews every page before it is published.
